Enterprise Ireland provides a comprehensive range of supports to assist software companies market abroad. Enterprise Ireland has 33 representative offices around the world.

Although these paragraphs relate specifically to the British representative office similar services are provide by other representative offices throughout 5 global regions namely:

General Services and Support
- Sales & Marketing Recruitment service, available through a specialist consultancy with which EI has developed a working relationship and negotiated preferential rates;
- Competitor Intelligence, available through a specialist consultancy with which EI has formed a working relationship and negotiated preferential rates;
- EI offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow provide meeting and conference facilities, as well as desks and telephones for client usage;
- Mailing Address service provided through Ireland House Business Centre in London, and available at a low cost, on a quarterly basis;
- A full programme of corporate hospitality events, providing companies with an opportunity to entertain valued clients at appropriate sporting and cultural events;
- Inward buyer support whereby Enterprise Ireland will organise the travel arrangements and contribute up to 50% of the direct costs (hotel and travel) of visits by interested end users, customers/channel partners to meet staff and/or view reference sites.
Software and Services Programme
- To develop and increase sales opportunities for all software companies, through introductions to decision making and influencing contacts, marketing activities and research;
- To create market awareness for both individual client companies and Ireland itself as a source of high quality solutions;
- To develop knowledge and understanding of sectors representing growth potential or routes to market for Irish suppliers and relationships with key companies and vendors within these sectors;
- To support and appropriately position pre-exporters and new market entrants.
Financial Services Programme
- Creation of CD-ROM/web-based catalogue profiling individual financial services software products available from Ireland, for circulation to over 1000 key buyers and influencers in UK banks, building societies and insurance companies;
- UK media relations programme with financial press, focusing on individual suppliers and solutions-based stories;
- Development of a directory of over 400 key contacts in Scottish financial institutions. This complements the database of approximately 500 contacts in England.
